Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Karobar Gateways receives when you send an enquiry, message us or visit this website, and what we do with it. In short: we only receive what you choose to send us, we use it to answer you, and we don't sell it.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to visitors to this website and to anyone who contacts Karobar Gateways through the enquiry form, WhatsApp, email or a call. It sits alongside our other legal pages.

Karobar Gateways is a consultancy based in Baku, Azerbaijan. In this policy, "we" and "our team" mean Karobar Gateways.

Please read this policy together with our Terms and Conditions, our Cookie Policy and our Service and Investment Disclaimer.

This page is a general draft written in plain language. It is pending review by a qualified lawyer and may change after that review.

Information we collect

We receive the details you type into the enquiry form or send us directly. You decide how much to share at the first stage.

  • Your name.
  • Your WhatsApp number or email address, so we can reply.
  • The service you are interested in.
  • The project details you choose to describe.
  • Anything else you include in an email, WhatsApp message or call with our team.

Please don't send passport copies, bank details or other sensitive documents in a first enquiry. If a project later needs documents, we'll agree with you how to share them.

How the enquiry form works

The enquiry form doesn't save your message on the website. It prepares a message in your own email app or in WhatsApp, addressed to us, and you choose whether to send it.

Because of this, nothing you type into the form is stored on the website server. Your message reaches us only when you press send in your email app or in WhatsApp.

Your email provider and WhatsApp handle the message under their own terms and privacy policies. We don't control those services.

How we use your information

We use your information to answer your enquiry, review your project with you and, if you decide to go ahead, carry out the agreed work. We don't sell personal information.

  • To reply to your message and ask follow-up questions about your project.
  • To prepare a practical plan of steps and, where you ask for one, a quote.
  • To carry out work you have agreed with us.
  • To meet legal obligations that apply to us.

Who may process your information

A small number of service providers are involved in running this website and our communications. We share project details with outside professionals only when your project needs them and you have agreed.

  • Website hosting: this website is hosted on Vercel. Like any hosting provider, it may process technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site.
  • Email and WhatsApp: messages you send us pass through your provider and ours.
  • Outside professionals: legal, tax and accounting sign-off belongs with qualified professionals. If your project needs one, we'll tell you first and share only what that work requires.
  • Authorities: where the law requires us to disclose information.

Cookies and analytics

At present this website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. That may change, and we'll tell you first.

If we add analytics or marketing tools later, we'll list them in this policy and in our Cookie Policy, and we'll offer you a consent choice before any of them run.

How long we keep information and how we protect it

We keep enquiry and project information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires. Access is limited to the people working on your enquiry.

No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security. We do take reasonable care with the accounts and devices we use.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. The exact legal rights you have depend on where you live.

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we aren't required to keep it.

To make a request, email info@karobargateways.com from the address you used to contact us, or use our contact page.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy when the website, the enquiry form or the tools behind them change. The current version is always the one published on this page.

This website isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
